Transit Centers/Park-and-Rides:
The City of Mesa Transit Services Department is responsible for the management and cleanliness of three Transit Centers and four Park-and-Rides, providing 1,016 parking spaces.
Key Performance Measure:
During the peak of the pandemic park and ride usage averaged 6-8%. While utilization remains significantly lower than the pre-pandemic levels of 51% to 58%, usage has slowly began to increase, averaging 12% in FY22 Q2.
This metric continues to have a strong correlation to the decline in Express Bus ridership over the same period.
