The City Clerk’s Office is committed to serving the community with integrity and a high level of professionalism by promoting transparency to citizens and providing responsive, reliable information. Through continuous education, the City Clerk’s Office strives to uphold regulatory compliance and establish innovative process improvements.
What we do:
  • Administers the City’s municipal elections
  • Maintains, records and preserves all proceedings of the City Council
  • Upholds compliance with open meeting law and public notice requirements
  • Oversees the citywide records retention policy and ensures public access to records
  • Coordinates the codification and publication of the City’s Code of Ordinances
  • Administers the local public safety pension board;
  • Oversees advisory board and committee membership
  • Accepts legal service for the City
