This is a record of every Class A performed at signalized intersections maintained by the City of Mesa. Class A traffic signal maintenance is defined as the preventive and responsive activities to preserve traffic signal infrastructure and control devices necessary for the safe and efficient utilization of arterial, collector, and local roadways. This includes doing an AC/DC voltage check, cleaning the cabinet, checking the controller and monitor programming and operation, checking pedestrian and vehicle detection operation, checking for signal indication outages, checking equipment inventory, checking communications to the traffic management center, and checking wiring

This dataset describes planned and completed traffic signal audits across the City of Mesa managed transportation system. A traffic signal audit is a formal examination of the number of signalized intersections maintained by the City of Mesa. They are checked for proper programming and operation on a quarterly basis by a formal internal team. The data recorded includes the date by which each intersection needed to be audited, as well as the date the audit was completed.

The Average Weekday Traffic Volume is a count of the number of vehicle axle pairs (a car has 2 axles) passing through a given location on an average weekday. This is the traffic volume over a one-day weekday period and is a summary of the data that is collected in 15-minute intervals. The 15-minute interval traffic volumes for a particular location are available through Mesa’s Interactive Traffic Count Map application at https://gis.mesaaz.gov/TrafficCounts

Information about trees owned and maintained by the City of Mesa and includes trees maintained by Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities (PRCF), Transportation and Transit departments. This dataset also includes other vegetation in city owned parks, open basins, and rights of way including cacti, bushes, etc. City owned/maintained trees are managed by 3rd parties such as West Coast Arborists (WCA). This view excludes employee information and extraneous detail from Cityworks that does not pertain to In-House Street Sweeping. This is a record of every work order captured in the Cityworks program pertaining to sweeping in the City of Mesa. By querying all of the work order records in order to find only the sweeping work orders and organizing by date, we are able to determine if every sweeping route has been revisited within one month.

This feature class identifies all streetlight fixtures within the boundary of the City of Mesa, including portions of other bordering agencies. A streetlight fixture includes the lamp, pole, and photocell, if present. Data are stored as a point geometry type feature class in the City Enterprise Geodatabase. The projected coordinate system is NAD 1983 State Plane Arizona Central FIPS 0202 Feet.

This feature class identifies all roadways and parking areas that are maintained by the City of Mesa. This includes streets, intersections, parking lots, paved alleys, unpaved alleys, and dirt roads. Data are stored as a line geometry type feature class in the City Enterprise Geodatabase. The projected coordinate system is NAD 1983 State Plane Arizona Central FIPS 0202 Feet.

This data set provides information about work performed on Transportation assets such as street inventory, street lights, traffic signals, signs, and pavement markings. Data are stored on Cityworks servers.
