This dataset contains the city-wide network of on-street bike facilities and off-street shared-use facilities. An on-street bike lane is an area of the roadway designated by signing, striping, and pavement markings for the exclusive use by bicyclists. An on-street bike route is a roadway designated by signing where bicycling conditions are favorable and which directly connect destinations and other multi-modal uses. Off-street facilities are categorized as paved shared-use paths, paved canal paths, and unpaved canal paths. These facilities are exclusive to non-motorized users and have minimal vehicular traffic. Paved and unpaved canal paths are located along canal access roads while the paved shared-use path designation captures all other off-street shared-use path facilities. This data is updated monthly and reflects current facilities.
