Monthly electric consumption data in kWh and customer counts within the City of Mesa's electric service territory broken down by Rate Classification (i.e. Residential, Commercial, Other Public Authority, Interdepartmental). Consumption totals are for the month in which they are billed to the customer (“Billing Month”). Due to the constant reading of utility meters throughout the month, much of the consumption occurs in the month prior to the Billing Month. Data reporting may have a 14 day lag.

The Commercial Vacancy All Properties dataset shows a variety of current and historical data points regarding the commercial real estate availability, vacancy, and absorption across the entire City of Mesa for all commercial properties. This dataset was collected from a third-party source, CoStar, which is a commercial real estate database. NOTE: Effective March 1, 2019, the Mesa tax rate increased from 1.75% to 2.0%. Period revenues are delayed by up to 120 days. For example, May revenues are generally posted by mid July.

Posting month is the accounting period the City booked the revenues and is used for financial reporting and budgeting. This feature class identifies all roadways and parking areas that are maintained by the City of Mesa. This includes streets, intersections, parking lots, paved alleys, unpaved alleys, and dirt roads. Data are stored as a line geometry type feature class in the City Enterprise Geodatabase. The projected coordinate system is NAD 1983 State Plane Arizona Central FIPS 0202 Feet.

This dataset provides information regarding the location of existing parcel areas, which are defined as Maricopa County Assessor taxable areas within the City of Mesa. Data represents the City’s current parcels and is reconciled monthly with the Maricopa County Assessor’s published parcel numbers. This dataset also shows the floor the parcel occupies, when the parcel was created and the Maricopa County Assessor assigned parcel number (APN). Displays parcel polygons with Maricopa County Assessor parcel number within the City of Mesa. Can be used for a variety of displays and analysis; legally defined areas, taxation purposes, etc.
