Information about solar energy generated on City owned assets and either captured or used by City Buildings. Dataset includes how much energy is generated monthly and the performance of non-City owned solar energy systems. Data is reported monthly by billing entity (SRP or PPA).

Dataset provides monthly information about the accuracy and timeliness of print jobs generated by the city’s print services. These measures are verified from data collected on customer service satisfaction surveys, percent of jobs delivered by the due date and percent of jobs free of defect. The fields in this dataset pertain to percent of print jobs completed by the due date.

Information about Revenues and Expenditures posted in the City’s financial system related to the City’s Employee Benefits Trust Fund. What is the trust fund?  What is it used for? The City of Mesa is self-insured for three different types of claims/losses: (1) employee benefits, (2) loss and liability claims, and (3) workers’ compensation.  State law requires that all self-insurance program funds be placed in a trust fund and that the trust fund be administered by at least five joint trustees.  The City’s Self-Insurance Program Board of Trustees was created by the City Council pursuant to Section 501 of the City Charter and Ordinance No. 1260 on August 6, 1979, as amended by Ordinance 5125 on October 1, 2012. As set forth in Mesa City Code § 2-17, the Self-Insurance Board of Trustees makes recommendations to the City Manager and the Council on matters pertaining to the financial viability of the trust funds. Developed park acres per 1000 population including developed parks, recreation centers outside of parks, aquatics sites, retention basins, golf course, and Convention Center. Population data is based on U.S. Census Data. Acres according to PRCF Maintenance & Development as documented in the ArcGIS Parks SDE geodatabase.

Number of forensic lab requests completed as a percentage of the total number of lab requests received. Our goal is to complete greater than 90% of the incoming requests each quarter. The Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is used to automate this process. Data from the LIMS application is queried two separate times to find all the new requests in that quarter, and then queried a second time for the completed requests by quarter. This is necessary due to how the backend data is constructed by the vendor. The query results are then used in an application to create a report that shows the count of New Requests, and the count of Completed Requests in the same report. It shows the Actual Goal. To determine if they met or did not meet the goal Socrata is used to create a calculated field to divide the completed by the new counts.

The percent of outgoing mail that is billed at a discounted rate. Examples of full rate mail are handwritten addresses and foreign addresses. Mail that is not USPS compliant is billed at the full rate and does not qualify for a discount. The discounts vary based on the type of mail, but the goal is to not pay full rate. Data changes and publishing interval is monthly, however the automated job runs weekly to look for the most current monthly data.

The number of solicitations issued per month. A solicitation is a request for Vendors to submit a price or proposal for a product or solution the City is interested in Purchasing.
