Paratransit is a shared-ride, door-to-door, or curb-to-curb transportation (provided in vans and/or taxicabs) provided to people with disabilities who are unable, or have limited ability because of their disability, to use fixed-route buses or trains. All public transit agencies providing fixed-route bus and rail service are required by the ADA to provide this service.

This dataset includes information about how many alarm permit applications and renewals are received each month. The requirement is to process them within 30 days and this dataset is recording how many are processed within 15 days.

The number of educational packets distributed during the month by Animal Control staff to those they come in contact with in the field or office. Education information packets include information related to animal safety, animal care and/or Animal Control ordinances.

This dataset provides information about the material that is stored in the City warehouse and made available to City Departments with a goal of having the accurate amount of materials available, when a Department needs it. 

Participation numbers for our Recreation & Aquatics; including Recreation Centers: Red Mountain Center, Webster, Jefferson, and Eagles. It includes programming and all aquatic participation numbers by season. Seasons are defined as: Spring = Jan - Apr, Summer = May - Aug and Fall = Sep - Dec.

Legally defined right-of-way boundary of canals within Mesa planning area. Canals supply much of the water the City uses for drinking water and irrigation of parks and open spaces. Data represents canal right-of-way from the City’s inception and is updated when changes are made to the canal Right of Way (ROW).

Information about employers and employees in the City of Mesa by industry and census tract. Data is collected annually by Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) from a variety of sources. NOTE: Location of employees are generalized based on the center point of census tract and are NOT an exact location.
